GRC production process
GRC: Is the English abbreviation of glass-fiber Reinforced Cement, from Europe and the United States technology, is the alkali resistant Glass fiber, cement, sand and other composite materials according to a certain ratio of mixing, pouring molding in the mold, to produce a rich shape, diverse texture of products. It is widely used in various characteristic buildings at home and abroad. There are many types of reinforced glass fibers, such as chopped fiber yarn, continuous fiber untwisted roving, mesh cloth, chopped fiber felt, etc. Different types of glass fibers are incorporated into the cement matrix in different ways, and the same type of glass fibers are incorporated into the cement matrix in different ways. 1. Spray process
Process is the application of early and many methods of manufacturing GRC products, including manual injection and automatic injection. In the early 1970s, the British Architectural Research Institute (BRE) first used this method to manufacture glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC) products. Whether it is manual or mechanical injection, the injection process requires specially trained operators and special equipment. The correct operation method greatly affects the strength and durability of GRC products. For the spraying process, the glass fiber is randomly distributed in the cement mortar in two-dimensional random direction, the effective utilization rate of the fiber is high, and the physical properties of the product are also good.
2. Premixing process
The premixing process is to stir the short glass fiber and the cement mortar matrix together to form a uniform glass fiber cement mixture, and then make the product by pouring or spraying.
